Who We Are

Hydroblasting and hydrodemolition are complex, widely-applicable, and environmentally friendly methods of construction, cleaning, and preparation. Before we get into what we do, let’s take some time to get to know the team- the people and the machines! We are a small but incredibly mighty firm that is dedicated to our work and our clients. We’ll begin the introductions with the Clean Sweep Hydroblasting CEO, Tracy Arnold.

Tracy Arnold, CEO

Tracy Arnold has always been a hard worker. When he was just seven years old, he started making his own money by cutting lawns in the summertime. In his youth, he worked with his father’s sandblasting and painting business in the Bahamas, beginning his interest in heavy machines and how to make them better. After high school, he joined the Navy, but came back to the United States to start his own business. His own sandblasting and painting business quickly began to evolve. From pressure cleaning roofs, to his first paint removal contract, Clean Sweep Hydroblasting was born.

Hydroblasting at the Right Time

Right as Clean Sweep was getting started, Ultra High Pressure (between 20,000 and 40,000 psi) was becoming a safe and effective tool in the hydroblasting industry. If new tech is available Tracy is always an early adopter. Because of this, Clean Sweep has been at the forefront of the hydroblasting industry for over 30 years, taking on projects both large and small.

Q: What is your favorite type of project?

A: I like smaller jobs that allow me to work quickly and independently.

Q: What was your first job as an independent company?

A: A company hired us to take paint off of a building and that job required about 12,000 psi.

Q: What would you like clients to know?

A: I’m constantly thinking of how to do things better. I filed three more patents just today and plan to increase efficiency throughout the hydroblasting industry.
